I am a veterinarian and my husband and I own our practice. When we are not at work, we are on the water, on our boat. We live east of San Francisco and spend most of our time on the Bay and on the Pacific outside of the Golgen Gate, fishing for crab, tuna, cod and halibut. We also frequent Half Moon Bay and Monterey Bay.
The idea of Fluid Therapy comes from my work. We often will use the term when pets come in that are a bit dehydrated and need to be on "fluid therapy" to help them feel better.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I am my target audience. This only has to please me and my hubby but I want it to make the boat get a second look at the ramp or marina.
My idea is to have a martini glass with perhaps a tuna or swordfish in it and a dungeness crab hanging from the rim, maybe holding an olive. The bottom of the glass would have a fluid line connected to it as if coming from the bottom of a bag of fluids to be administered intravenously. I attached a couple of pictures of this bag/tube combination.
The fluid line (or tubing) would "flow" off to the right and become water (ocean) and this is the base across the bottom of the graphic. The words "Fluid Therapy" sits, or perhaps rises from this base of water off to the right.
This will be on a space of about 18"-20" high by up to 24" to 30" long. The glass and stuff can be as colorful and detailed as you like, keeping in mind that the words need to be easily read if our boat needs to be identified on the water. Whimsy is welcome.
Please do not limit yourselves to this layout, it is just what I have in my brain. I do not want to stifle the creative mind.
I am excited about this web site and this project. Please feel free to contact me.
