Banner required for Marine retail company for a boat show

I need a banner designed for a marine supply company (company that sells radios, radars, gps systems, rope, life-jackets, etc, and anything else needed by sail and power boaters). The banner will be displayed at an upcoming boat show, and will advertise a new promotion.

What do I want on the banner? Well, the main part is that I need a "captain" or a "pirate" as the focal point. Probably a life-size image. The idea, is that MMOS Marine Supply is coming out with a new promotion called "Captain's Cash", whereby a $1 coin (fake, like a poker chip) will be given back to customers for every $25 purchase. So if a customer spends $200 in the store, they will receive eight $1 coins, or a total of $8 in Captain's Cash which they can redeem at the store for future purchases. It is this new promotion that will be launched at a Boat Show coming up in February.

Our thoughts is that at the top of the banner should be the following text: "Captain's Cash is BACK!" (because it is a marketing tool that used to exist at the store 20+ years ago). Under that in smaller letters should be, "The Captain has finally come back to port after being lost at sea for 17 years". Under that should be a large life-size image of an older pirate (or captain) with one foot up on a closed treasure chest, and a bag of gold one one hand. There should be some coins on the ground around the treasure chest, and perhaps spilling out over top of the chest... and maybe spilling out of the top of the bag of gold coins he's holding. This entire image should take up most of the banner. Then at the bottom should be the following text: "When you make a purchase at MMOS Marine Supply and pay by cash or debit, you will receive $1 Captain's Cash for evey $25 dollars spent (pre-tax)".

Feel free to deviate from the above description. I was reluctant to include so much detail, because I want to see different concepts and I don't want to hinder your creativity!! But that's an idea we had, so either pretty it up or come up with something else you think would be better. Perhaps you want to use other marine things in the banner... boats, etc...

Colors don't really matter... except the coins I would think should be gold. Other than that, blue and red tend to be used a lot around the store, and the store's logo is blue. You can see the store's website here: http://www.mmosonline.com, but don't feel you need to use anything from the site.

It is VERY important that the image be custom and unique. NO clip art images... you need to create the image from scratch, as you would a logo. The image should be "cartoon-like" and not a real representation of a person.
