Shaila, a young women living a simple austere life working on a farm with her aunt, learns she's the last remaining relative of the Fallen King. Her farm is attacked and destroyed. She's able to escape into the desert alone, and her journey is one of magic, undead knights loyal to her distant relative, and a dragon named Steve.
