I've chosen to draw the water drops as more fluid, slightly imperfect shapes. This gives the mark some personality and distinctiveness but also ensures that it all doesn't feel too cold (which I believe most brands in this space don't really think about).
For the typography, I've chosen a heavier weight/width of Aktiv Grotesk. It has warmth–echoing the brand mission–with sharp corners and wide apertures giving it some contrast from the mark so that the eyes get drawn into it rather than completely blending in with the mark. It also has a fairly extensive set of weights and widths, giving you the ability to create new brand elements while maintaining cohesion across all of them.")
知っておきたいこと
I started my design career on 99 designs when it was still on Sitepoint over 15 years ago.
I've built and built and led design teams, as well as complex projects from discovery till launch for Google, Airbnb, Birchbox, Ticketmaster, and many more. More recently I've focused on branding and label design for various companies I've launched.
So why am I on 99 designs? It's fun to do small solo projects. I find the competitions an exciting way to keep my design skills sharp.
