Hello! we are looking for a creative design for new italian brand for sustainable tshirt! Brand name: YOKU Meaning of the name: the name of the brand comes from the japanese word Shinrin-yoku that literally means “getting benefits from the athmosphere of the forest” or literally “having a bath in the forest”. YOKU is an apparel brand focused on t-shirts that will be made entirely with bamboo fabrics. The aim is to produce sustainable fashion while spreading awareness around the environment by using sustainable fabrics (such as the bamboo) and by creating benefits for nature from the sales of products. BRIEF: Nowadays the environmental situation of the earth is getting critical: more and more we hear about natural disasters happening across the globe. It is now the time that we all take action and play our part in the change that must be made in the way we live and WEAR. It is known that the fashion industry has negatively contributed for decades on the environmental change by using textiles and production processes with devastating effects for our environment. YOKU Apparel wants to change that. By using eco-friendly textiles produced and inspired by nature, we want to provide our consumers with high-quality products while being respectful with our mother earth. We’ll contribute in building a positive life-circle where we take and give back to nature at the same time. Indeed our marketing approach is developed in including important giveback to the environment by sustaining social causes related to it and to the wildlife. OUR APPROACH NATURE FIRST – Nature is our inspiration from beginning to the end COMMUNITY BUILDERS – we don’t only sell product instead we are creating a community driven and united by the same values that will identify themselves through our products DIVERSITY LOVERS – from the top of the higher mountain to the deepest blue sea, nature is different and each place is unique and makes us experience different emotions. That’s why we love it! As nature is diverse and unique, we believe in the power of diversity and uniqueness of each single person. And this statement is reflected in our products, designed and meant for everyone to wear. Our content strategy will reflect our values: SUSTAINABILITY - on each step of the production process (from the beginning to the end of the production cycle) AUTHENTICITY – the consumer is always aware of where our products come from HUMAN POWER - we believe in the power of the community. It only needs one to take action to start a revolution in fashion. And the content will be spread through a TOV: Loud – we want our voice to be heard Inspirational – we want to inspire the positive change Impactful – we want to make an impact, on people’s lives through our messages and products All of this must be reflected in creativities for t-shirts. Specifically: - the design must have a strong concept but without being chaotic - the design must be UNISEX wearable from both man and women - it’s up to you if having the main design in front of t-shirts or in the back (we like to see your proposals ) Please find attached our brand identity with logo, plus some references just to take as inspiration.
