Our company is focused on developing and running mostly travel websites. We are launching a new website called Tripomatic.com and we need a new design for it. The website will help travelers plan their trips all round the world and provide information about interesting places.
Target audience are people (usually 18-40 years old) all round the world interested in leisure traveling, trip planning, etc.
We need a webdesign for our new website – Tripomatic.com
The blue logo Tripomatic (TripomaticLogo.ai) has to be used (attached).
We haven't chosen colors for our website. It is up to you which colors will be used.
We want the design to be simple, modern and user-friendly.
Designers please feel free to be creative
Do not follow the attached wire frames strictly. The design however has to contain all items and features.
The page must fit 1024x768 standard resolution with important features above the fold.
This is NOT the homepage of Tripomatic.com, we have chosen a content page because it best represents most of the pages within the site.
- The header
Has to contain the website logo, avatar of the user, his first and last name (it will be taken from Facebook) and a link to a page with a list of user's trips.
Our sample page (country detail) has to consist of:
Photos from the country (width 500px)
Rating system (e.g. stars)
Links to (max 6) regions
Links to cities (6+)
A list of activities (Top Activites)
Description of the place will be around 300 words – 600 words (we would like to use “show more” after 300 words)
The categories will be buttons which you can turn on/off. User should be able to figure out that he/she can select more categories
The activities will look like a card with a picture (75x75px), a short description (140 characters), rating and a name.
- Right Stack (My Trip Stack)
Users will be able to fill this stack with activities cards (like ones in the list of activities in the body) using drag and drop or "add to stack" button.
When the stack is empty it should provide some guidance to its function (like the note inside, it's shape, or grayed button image) User has to understand that he can drag and drop activities from the “Top activites” list to the stack or use the button “add to stack”
- Feel free to use other alternative names / texts for any item on page.
- All headlines etc. must be textual (i.e. do not use fancy fonts or effects that cannot be done using CSS)
