I help small and medium sized businesses when they have questions or problems about employment issues. I help them comply with employment laws and regulations, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Family and Medical Leave Act, and I defend them in litigation. I also represent individuals who need professional, compassionate legal advice about their employment. My goal is to assist employers and employees in the workplace and resolve problems early, ideally before there is litigation.
My target audience includes owners and managers of small businesses, HR professionals and individuals who are seeking legal advice.
The site needs to convey stability and trust. I prefer modern to traditional. As a user, I like websites that are less busy, very easy to navigate, and those that use space well.
The home page should load fast and be comprehensible in a couple seconds. Inviting and clean. No images of gavels, scales of justice, two hands shaking, or Roman columns. I'd like photographs that slide or dissolve automatically every few seconds with varying text, just to add some movement to the site. I’ll have five main sections:
Home; For Employers; For Employees; About Me; Blog; Contact.
A search bar to allow searching for terms within the site might be towards the top of the page, but should be discreet.
I don’t like the color scheme of this site, the lack of contrast between the type and the background, and the small size of the font:
