We are a small business looking to launch in 2009. Our specialty is websites and web marketing for lawyers. Previously we co-founded Elinc, and so we know what it is like to start a small business. We would like to communicate to our target market that we can empathize with the difficulties of starting a business. That is why we are offering an affordable solution to those who are just starting a practice.
We are targeting law firms with 1-10 practitioners. Specifically those who are just venturing out on their own. Also, we are targeting lawyers with an existing business who are still investing their marketing dollars in phone books.
We like how the “how we can help” menu shows up across all pages. This is similar to the way that we want our service menu to appear on all pages (except for the home page). Also, this site has great visual appeal.
See our prototype for the general layout (open to changes).
-We would like for you to use our logo colors. A background of blue gradients might be nice.
-The text should usually be black against a white or cream colored background, to make it easy for users to read.
-We would like a graphic to illustrate each service on the homepage. For example, a graphic about websites to go in the “Websites for lawyer” box.
-The “free 30 day trial” should be a button on the home page on the left side (under the offering).
-Graphic in the top right hand corner of the home page. We would like for it to illustrate the flow from a website to a feedback report and back to the website. We would like to emphasize that as lawyers get feedback about web visitor habits, they can tweak their website to gain even more customers. For more information, read “Internet Marketing Plan” in the prototype.
How it Works:
-A graphic for each step in the process.
-Stylized check marks for each service
-Services submenu to appear in top left corner of all pages except the home page.
-Articles submenu to fall beneath the Services submenu.
-Use logo (ai file in zip)
-PNG of page in 1024X768
-Fully coded not required. However, we would like well designed rollover effects for the menus and the code necessary for those effects.
