We are an established technology solutions company with a new service offering called myGuru. The service is like a remote tech support service but instead of just fixing issues, we also provide technical advice and remote training for our customers. We are, in fact, their guru - available 24/7 with the click of a button. Our focus is high tech help wrapped in superior service.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our primary target market is US women between the ages of 55 and 75 but we want to appeal to a broader base than that. Our audience will appreciate something progressive and simple with easy to read content and pleasing graphics.
Our web page should be progressive, using the latest web design techniques and simple - easy to absorb and understand. The page should emphasize our single click service (the user clicks an icon and a chat session is instantly started with a tech) but can also mention these other features:
1. Unlimited 24/7 access to your Guru
2. PC/Mac?Smartphone support
3. One click. Relax. Single click access to your Guru
4. Answers, advice and remote training
5. Extremely private - user has to give permission for guru to access PC
6. Strong customer focus with fast, polite service
This is a technology service but really, it's about people - helping people live better lives through technology. The classic example is a grandmother learning to use a web cam to video chat with her distant grandchildren. So, the web page should emphasize/feature people.
We are looking for something more graphically appealing with strong tag lines or bullet points. We want to draw the visitor in with good visual appeal and then we'll explain the details deeper in the site.
PLEASE NOTE: I have attached our new logo (from a screenshot) in PDF form (recently created here on 99 Designs). I will upload the .ai file when the designer uploads the file.
We need the web site's home page designed. We can take that look & feel and translate it into additional pages. Just use the normal nav items (about us, contact us, how it works, support) for now because we aren't 100% sure how many/which pages will be created.
