Because the clients of this company are people who either have birth malformations or have been in accidents and need a facial reconstruction, I decided to design a face composed by sections, broken bits. You can either look at the logo and see a face breaking away or a face being built by sections. And that was exactly my intention. The face breaking is what brings you to this company and the face being rebuilt is what you get from the company.")

I created a sheet of textile which seems to be halfway through a folding motion, and the overall shape resembles a bow tie. The geometric pattern was added purely as a graphic feature and a way of distinguishing the top side of the \"sheet\" from it's underside (dark marine blue). I wanted a dynamic motion to be evident in this logo, making it memorable and unique.")

The client wanted a specific modern style, where same thickness lines are used to create simple and minimalist logos. I used the rule of thumb, simple is better and designed the outline of two hands against each other, frequently used during meditation. The reason the hands are not flat against each other was to avoid a religious connotation. Originaly, this logo is meant to be solid black, but my suggestion was for the client to purchase a picture of the cosmos and use it as a texture, appealing to the brands spiritual nature.
I do not own the picture I used, but it is labeled for reuse. I am merely using it to showcase my logo. The logo is entirely my creation.")

I didn't want the logo to look childish or cliparty so I tried to maintain a minimal, modern, flat look to it, since it is directed at adults. Instead of using a full blown desk and making the logo quite busy, I made a desk simply by using the laptop and the negative space between the sloth's paws, whilst making the sloth look like it is hanging from the desk, it a very common pose. I gave the sloth a flat and retro look specifically so it doesn't appear childish or cartoony. I also gave the sloth a light orange look so the logo didn't look too dark. The ultimate message is of procrastinating, relaxing.")

Immediately ideas of boxes and text imagery came to my mind but I didn't want this logo to have a generic logo so I drew an open box, using very geometric shapes, in a way that it resembles a talking mouth, and a swirl of information exits it's insides and spreads in it's surroundings. The swirl is free form and it represent's the creative ideas of it's users. I used an unusual combination of colours but that would definitely be memorable. The only yellow element it's the box's mouth, where the knowledge comes from, the user's mouth. The rest of the logo uses shades of green, a colour highly associated with technology.")

Boucher means butcher and the client wanted butcher knives to be used in the logo. Contrary to popular belief, a meat cleaver is NOT a butcher's knife. So I dew the outline of a butcher's knife and by joining two by their flat edges I created the shape of the top half of a wine bottle. Then I added a fork and knife to represent the food connection of the brand. I created the logo in an emblem format to compile with the style requested by the client.")

Because I sail as a hobby, it was easy for me to draw a sailing yacht from memory. I chose this specific angle for the yacht to narrow it's presence in the whole logo, so there is a balance between imagery and word, without skimping on the details. As the brand name stated, this company wants to be seen as exclusive, luxurious, refined, and so I gave it a conservative clean look, with a dark navy blue as a background and white for the words and yacht. This also emphasizes the yacht elements (white sails, white hull).")

The town's Logo involves a \"T\" standing by itself so I used it as inspiration for my logo. To keep the T elegant but without looking too thin, I divided the letter and stylized it. A vine grows around the T and pours down the edges. I kept my lines elegant and geometric to match the luxurious feel asked by the CH. I also used the colours of purple and gold, to add the look of Royalty, Luxury and Exclusiveness.")

My logo compiles a cat in a leaping pose and from it's front paws a great colourful feather springs, almost as if the cat pinned it out from mid air. I wanted to make this logo look artistic so I used geometric shapes to create an effect similar to watercolour paitings, but very geometric and without the texture. The feather slightly resembles a C, and it's colours are taken from the actual real life feather toys.")

Hello! My name is Cat and I am the sole designer behind Quita Designs. My style of designing encompasses the strings of modern, hipster, young, classic, luxurious, and most of all, creative! I can either follow a classic style and a simple and obvious design, but also come up with something loud, colourful and out of the ordinary! My priority is to create the dream design of my clients, and to do so making sure they get the highest quality of design.
