The traditional 3 equal bars mimic a performance bar chart to imply it's business association / intent. The frame of the logo reminds us of a coffee cup (top view), but also can be viewed as a search icon, which hits at the heart of the purpose of this event hosted by the German Chamber of Japan. The type is a classic sans-serif font dressed in business blue, and also allows for the event year to be boldly displayed.")

— Sei (pronouced e-sei and means the SUCCESSFUL-ONE) Design Co. was founded to provide thoughtful solutions using creative, design and feel as the primary sources of inspiration. Since my first professional assignment in 1995 to present projects, I continue to implement "shizen-no-kimochi" (natural course or flow of design) mantra to all my work. For me, design is not visual, it's visceral but expressed in a very tangible way.
