I used persons first name initial and literally flipped it, to emphasise his profession.

Task was to combine modern ways with something traditional as it's jewellery making. Simple, yet elegant and glamorous.
Main logo is built from a diamond shape and a initial of a boutique's name.
Font I used for initial, is refined, simple but glamorous to emphasise the niche, but left the name of a boutique to be more modest looking. I think as a whole, they make a good pair and represent luxury of a 21st century pretty good.")

Composition of logo was inspired by the boutique's name (under zero), so I placed the boutique's name literally under the zero. This way it turned out more oblong, unusual, more unique and fun looking, thus more appealing to modern audiences.
I chose to leave it in black, it's enough strong because of the nature of it's composition and color would (by my opinion) only ruin it's message.")

It was meant to be simple, yet not understated; to still deliver the message.
First two letters represent author's initials and the dot was placed to emphasise persons profession.
Serif font adds refined touch to it, classic one, perfect for someone like a writer.
We added gold, to bring out the richness of it.")

I decided to integrate a watch face into the logo itself, carefully, because I didn't want compromise and out-weight the name of a boutique.
