Make some rough sketch, such as a composition, what kind of image that fit on the design, etc.
After that, try to digitize the rough sketch. I use Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop to do that step.
If I think the design is good enough, I put the design on mockup, so the client could imagine the final.

I am a designer and illustrator from Indonesia with 5+ of experience in drawing, manual and digital illustration and painting. I usually work with bitmap based image. I choose objects from my surrounding and compose them to make a unique illustration. Currently, I am focusing on illustration, graphic design, book cover design, layout and poster design.
