I use plain black background to symbolize grieving and also to emphasize the white lily flower and white butterfly image to give them maximum focus to draw reader's attention.
The design won a 99design book cover contest and then I improved the design according to the client's needs.

I designed few slices of cake (or pizza) with various colors. The different colors represent various people who meet up together to share a meal. Some of the slices are moving out of the arrangement, to describe the dynamic nature of this social app, and also to describe the interaction between app users.
The icon can be used as a standalone logo and as part of the company's name (the letter \"o\" of the word \"trof\").")
