Since this infographic contains lots of information, I needed to balance it by making it colourful and fun. So that the viewers would keep interested while understanding the messages behind it. Thus the colour pallete I used was high contrast and colourful palette with darker shades for the shadows to create the 3D feel.
With illustration that has many objects in it; it's more likely each object would cause the image composition to break. That's why I needed to take the visual balance more carefully and came up with solutions for it. Like grouped the people by their department in particular way, wrote their job position in vertical, used arrow as workflow direction and used niche objects as visual cues to explain the general concept of their jobs.")

The concept and the style are cartoonish with a little touch of a comic strip.
In this illustration, I highly used outlines to make the cartoonish style dominant. The outlines width are uniform to keep the image looks clean. The colour of the outlines are also uniform to make them standout from the fill colours. But for the background objects, I didn't give them outlines so that they would look less focused.
For the fill colours I chose flat, solid colours with no gradient to maintain the simple cartoonish look. No core shadows on the objects but used simplified drop shadows on some characters.
I maintained the visual balance by positioning the biggest and the densest object, i.e, the restaurant, at the centre of the scene. Meanwhile I drew the rest of the big objects (car & house) relatively at the same height and width to fill the left and the right space with the same portion.")

The main goal for this illustration is to show the flexibility of getting in touch with your client in whatever & whenever situation you might be.
The overall tone that I want to achieve is relaxing vibe. So, I incorporated earthy colour palette & shades, like yellow, green and brown.
I also want this image to be easy on the eyes not look so busy but still can contain many objects in it. To achieve this, I decided to minimise the usage of lines wherever possible. But still drew it in certain area to emphasise the folds and layers between the objects.
For the shape language, I combined both realistic anatomy and cartoonish environment to make it looks fun yet still believable.")

I had to make sure I highlight the beauty of sea features such as its clean water, bubbles, marine life and caustics effects when it hit underwater objects.
I wanted it to be easily enjoyable, but with such number of features and objects that I wanted to highlight in this illustration, I had to make some compensations on some areas such as omitting textures, object lines and drop shadows unless its necessary.
To make the visual message of where the couple wanted to go become stronger, I aligned the dolphin in such way as visual cues of an existence of a destination island.
The colour palette that I used were earty colours that you may find in a sea; like cyan, blue, and white. The other colours I added were to give the image some accents to make the entire composition more appealing.
I used realistic shapes and proportions for the close objects and cartoonish style for the distant objects to make them less focal.")

To support the cozy look, I avoided using sharp shapes and jagged lines in the design.
I chose pastel colour palette to create the cozy vibe. However, the cyan colour of the car wouldn't strong enough to attract the focus from the viewer if it was printed on white T-Shirt. So, to compensate with that, I incorporated brighter colour i.e yellow disguised as the sun that acted as background to add contrast to the composition.
I used bold lines with rounded edges to give the image cartoony feel and thus felt more friendly. Yet, I didn't want to over do it that would make the design too childish to be used by adult.
I also placed the car and the texts relatively at the centre of the sun to keep the composition visually balanced.")
