Design Needs:
\"Think: raw. candid. vintage in some sort. I like layers (but not too busy), phases, the contrast of bold and simple [i like the idea of bold type mixed with script]. Also, think of \"spilling over\"- like it just doesn't quite fit in the space allotted.
Design Proposal:
Colours — soft, dusty, pastel pink for feminity contrasted with a muted navy blue for boldness.
Art — layered original drawing in pen, ambiguous female, minimalist line drawing.
Text — title is \"cut off\" the page and when another copy of the book is placed above/ below the word \"Whole\" becomes whole, bold serif font to contrast the hand-written style script of the author's name.")

Design Needs:
\"Bourbon barrel or barrels, maybe a close up shot. Or a picture of barrels stored inside a bourbon warehouse.\"
Design Proposal:
Hand-drawn pen illustration of a bourbon on the rocks, a corked bottle and wooden barrels with added shades of orange to emphasise the liquor.
The style feels raw, moody, creative and not restricted to only mature readers. Balanced suggestion of art and emotions that could be appreciated by all ages.

\"Something contemporary, adventurous, constructive, lucrative, clever, and vibrant! This is not your average \"business\" book cover. It's meant to be eye-catching, dramatic, revealing, and a bit odd.\"
Design Proposal:
A colourful, pastel cover so that will stand out from the other usual dark and serious business book covers on the shelves. The use of the human head illustration suggests the austerity of the subject (business and consulting) but is complemented with the 'open' brain and hundred dollar bill aeroplanes to depict a playful approach. I designed this cover to be quirky, thought-provoking and enticing to both older and younger readers interested in money-making.")

\"I would like the title to be easy to read. The purpose of this book is to present the issue of climate change in a manner that anyone can understand, without oversimplification. Avoid the cliche like polar bears or smoke stacks.\"
Design Proposal:
Minimal and abstract yet impactful and modern. The colours pertains to heat (global warming) and water elements which is relevant to the book's topic. The circle and ripples are to represent both heat (sun) and water also. The font is bold and \"eroded\".")

A bright and bold cover so that it stands out from the other dark and serious business book covers on the shelves. Straight-away, the green suggests 'money' but the pastel tint adds modernity to this business book. The sketch-y illustration of the brain engraved with a '$' inside is to emphasise the topic. The brain is also used as a visual metaphor for a 'light bulb' referring to 'ideas'.")

Very minimal and elegant by not overcrowding the page and more focused on the title. The colours are feminine yet muted/dusty for a \"moody\" and \"vintage\" vibe. The white 'thread' is symbolic to creating something \"whole\"/ the poem on the blurb.")

A hand-drawn Miniature Schnauzer (client's dog) using pen on paper which was then digitally coloured. Minimalistic yet a stylish and festive overall design.")

\"Design needs to be original and eye-catching and would stand out from other products on a retail shelf.\"
Design Proposal:
Marble texture - a very popular \"aesthetic\" amongst the target audience ie. young adults and bloggers thus making the design \"instagrammable\" when posted with the footwear. Elegant packaging that elevates the shopping experience.
Logo - bolder with more character and impact. It suggests femininity with a stroke of \"badass\". Also effectively contrasts the pastel accents and squiggly lines that adds \"fun\" to the design!
Also makes a trendy storage box!")

I'm a multidisciplinary designer exploring a bit of everything. I have a degree in Interior and Spatial Design from the University of the Arts London and and academic background in Art and Design. I enjoy creating simple graphics yet conveying depth or some flair to the narrative ~
