I started the design with the idea of pirate's flag, an image of skull and crossbones. It ended up with this visualization, an IC as a skull, and circuit board as crossbones. The 4 points of the crossbones depict 4 key threaths to the intellectual property. Each threat is visualized with specific icon. As for the colors, they are corporate colors provided by client.")

I use simple and clean icons to help telling the story. As for the main image, i use an image of a boy with a lot of hands holding him, cause a young gay/bisexual men are the most at risk for STIs.")

A map is always complex thing, especially for the readers. I myself don't like to read map that is too technical. So, for this design, my attempt was to visualize the map to be attractive, simple, and, the most important thing is, still informative. To get an attractive map, i used a 3D visualization. To make it simple, i use isometric projection so i can get a simple geometric shape. The color was very limited too, i only used blue to emphasize the client's building. The rest is only black and white.")

And it came with this illustration, a boy and a girl vaulting over the title. I played with the keyhole to depict \"hacked\". The pet things are the fun elements on this design, and so with bright colors. The purpose of bright colors and fun elements is to attract the target market of this book (young boys and girls who want to go to college). The pet things also relevant with the title too.")
