The colours in the icon represent entities within the network, with the dark grey being Addet (to match the colour of the logotype), and placed in the centre. The pixels represent the various digital networking activities.
The Addet logotype is based on a font called 'Community Service'. I thought it was appropriate because it feels suitable technological. I adapted it to make it unique to the business.")

My design was based on the idea of a shield of medieval coat of arms, as I wanted to illustrate the heritage of the festival and the city in which it takes place. I also used a Swiss typeface.
The 'horned shape' had to be incorporated into the design and was supplied by the client.
Unfortunately my submission was unsuccessful on this occasion.")
