I wanted to give it a bit a whimsical feel while still maintaining elegance and class. I used purple to give the logo its feminine touch without feeling overly cutesy. My goal was to create a logo that appealed to both women and their daughters alike and to have a classy and timeless look.")

I achieved this by the use of a serif typeface and paired it with an icon (that can be used by itself or as a whole) to make a combination mark. I chose to use an emerald color because that also says modern and luxury to me.")

I'm a Portland, Oregon based graphic designer. My background is in fine art, but being an alumni of The Art Institute of Portland, I've acquired many skills along the way that have made my work what it is today.
I find inspiration in everyday things, but one of biggest influences is my Japanese heritage. I try to pay homage to it in everything I do, sometimes in obvious ways other times, subtly.
