I liked that I was able to use my drawing skills to hand draw illustrations specifically for the client's needs. In this case, it was a welcome letter introducing their physical therapy program to new patients. I used traditional pen-and-ink, scanned them, colorized on Photoshop, and finally integrated them into a cohesive design, along with text and formatting.")

The style of this design was to be from 1950's era, when advertisements were done by hand as illustrations. It captures the joy of a young family, enthralled with their baby playing safely and comfortably in front of them, while they enjoy the moment. The client loved this design and I'm glad it met their needs and exceeded their expectations!")

I love the joy of the mother and the expectation of the kids, ready to eat their mom's delicious cookies. The idea was from the client, to capture the old-fashioned goodness and celebration of simple, wholesome pleasures of eating together as a family.")

I've been drawing since 1991, when I was 14. Since that time I have done hundreds of custom paintings and drawings on commission. My specialty is portraits and figures done in a realistic style. I thrive on creating art that is over the top and more than satisfies the client. Currently, I live in Eau Claire, WI with my wife and two children.
