Problem
The main problem with audiobook listening apps is the lack of ability to bookmark, take notes, highlight and share passages. And the main advantage is listening on the go, while walking or working. Combining these two opposing user experiences results in an entirely new format of book consumption. Read and listen at the same time.
Task
To design and develop a mobile app that allows the user to:
- Listen to audiobooks
- See visual materials that might be in a book, tables, charts, photos.
- Create bookmarks
- Read a digital version of the book

But at the same time, i retained the ability to quickly navigate to a particular section. As part of the project i developed a logo, styleguide and custom illustrations for the site")

I also decided to use this as a horizontal scroll indicator on the page.")

I’ve been designing user experiences for web and mobile for the last 4+ years. My main goal as a designer to make digital products more available for users. I am well versed in taking an uncompleted strategy from my clients and turning it into interactive mobile apps and websites with more value.
