99designs is perfect for breaking out of a creative rut, opening the design process to dozens of creative artists all over the world. We just completed our third contest, and all three were a great help to my organization. While I still prefer working with staff designers, there is sometimes a place for the 99designs shot of adrenaline, and I'm very grateful that this possibility exists.
